Trump was a really awful real estate developer. You could tell the whole story of his Atlantic City casinos, and how he more or less single-handedly ruined AC. But I have a story right out of my own neighborhood--Riverside Park South (I ran past this complex on my 18-mile run today).

Trump bought that land, got himself into debt, couldn't even make payments on the land, got bailed out by some Chinese investors.

The Chinese investors developed the properties and sold for a profit. Trump, in gratitude for get his fat ass pulled out of the fire, turned around and sued Chinese investors for a billion dollars. He lost the lawsuit, of course. The guy is a loser.
