Trump is about to double down again

His whole adult life, Trump has doubled down after spectacular failures, leaving American carnage in his wake. First, he lost his other people’s money buying and building casinos. By the time he was finished, he’d initiated an Atlantic City death spiral. The town never recovered.

Borrow money (or use money from the Russians) to buy a money-losing golf course? No problem, he just kept going he’d lost $315 million dollars.

Lose another billion dollars in NYC real estate? No problem. It’s other people’s money! Keep going! Trump just moved that act to Washington DC, where he’s lost another $100 million on his DC hotel.

It was all just house money. So he kept doubling down, trying to win it all.

Politics? Same thing? When people called him a racist for claiming that Mexico was sending rapists and murderers, he doubled down by claiming that a judge of Mexican descent couldn’t fairly adjudicate his trial.

Too lazy to actually deal with the covid virus and too vain to let Pence get any of the credit for managing the crisis? No problem! Just bet that it will all go away miraculously by Easter or the summer, or sometime long enough before the election so that people will forget. Never mind that hundreds of thousand of unnecessary American deaths were the result. Those are other people lives.
