This is a start. A good one, but just a start. There are lots of people who never said a word about the extrajudicial murders of black people, who never said anything about George Floyd, but then popped up to condemn the rioting and looting (I'm not defending those things). These are often the selfsame people who condemned Colin Kaepernick's form of protest as inappropriate.

It's good to take that first step toward understanding how deep the anger at an oppressive, murderous, racist state runs. But this is a deeper well than you can likely imagine at this point. Good luck on your journey.
