Right. I've heard people claim that you can't arrest of the Jan 6 lawbreakers because it would "overwhelm the courts." Nobody was worried about overwhelming the courts when a law (target specifically at Black people) was created that prescribed 5-year prison sentences for people who were caught with personal amounts of crack cocaine. Which is the same drug as powder cocaine.

The penalties for this violent insurrection need to be just as severe.
