No. Racism is a real thing. Systemic racism. Which is why White people (who created the system) need to be anti-racist. Why are BIPOC locked up at 4-5 times the rate of White people for drug crimes, even though drug use is roughly equal in those different communities?* Why do 10% of the people in this country (Black people) have only 1% of its wealth?

I assume you aren't a personally racist person, that you have no ill will toward the Black people that you know. Nobody needs you to feel guilty for being White. But you're either part of the solution or you're part of the problem. You aren't the victim here. Stop whining.

*Because police are using aggressive tactics in communities that are predominantly Black--they could get an equal amount of arrests in rich suburbs but this would be political suicide for anyone supporting such a policy.

**Because the federal government subsidized mortgages for White people after WW2 (allowing those communities to build inter-generational wealth) while forcing Black people into rental housing (Google red-lining if you don't believe me).
