Here’s what happened almost 20 years ago:
- At 8:46 on 9/11, a plane crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center.
- At 9:03, another plane crashed into the south tower.
- I knew my friends and former colleagues were in the south tower, and I watched the fires. I remember thinking, they just have to put out the fire, and everything will be fine again.
- At 9:59, the south tower collapsed.
- At 10:28, the north tower collapsed.
