For the USA, it’s 9:30 am on 9/11

2001

Here’s what happened almost 20 years ago:

• At 8:46 on 9/11, a plane crashed into the north tower of the World Trade Center.
• At 9:03, another plane crashed into the south tower.
• I knew my friends and former colleagues were in the south tower, and I watched the fires. I remember thinking, they just have to put out the fire, and everything will be fine again.
• At 9:59, the south tower collapsed.
• At 10:28, the north tower collapsed.

There are things that we see that we cannot believe. We can understand what they mean but we won’t. The evidence was in front of my eyes in that interval between 8:45 and 9:59. There was only one possible outcome to that much burning fuel oil that high up in airy structures made of meltable steel.

2021

In mid-2020, I remember thinking that we only need to get Biden elected, we need to get rid of Trump, and everything will be fine.

Now, as we approach mid-2021, the following things are true:

• Violent extremists attacked our capitol to try to stop the certification of Joe Biden. A major political party is fine with that fact. I’m not posting any pictures of this event. Google that shit for yourselves.
