As to racism? Teach your children well…

“I don’t see color. And I raised my kids to be color-blind.”

No. No you didn’t. It’s time to retire this tired old trope. I’m not saying I was raised in an anti-racist home, especially, but there was none of this nonsense. But my parents were good at seeing people for who they were, and they didn’t pretend to be color-blind.
